Championship Match Structure

Round 1: Group Stage (21 Teams → 14 Advance)

Three groups (EPL, La Liga, Others) → 7 teams in each group.
Each team debates against every team in their group once.
Top 4 teams from each group advance based on fan voting & judges' scores.
Wildcard Spot: The best 2nd place team across all groups also advances.
Total teams advancing: 14

Round 2: Knockout Stage (14 Teams → 8 Advance)

The 14 teams face off in 7 matchups.
The winners move forward (7 teams).
The best losing team (based on audience votes & engagement) gets a second chance.
Total teams advancing: 8

Round 3: Quarterfinals (8 Teams → 4 Advance)

4 knockout matchups.
Winners advance to the semifinals.

Round 4: Semifinals (4 Teams → 2 Advance)

The final four teams debate in two matchups.
The winners advance to the Grand Final.

Round 5: Grand Final (Championship Match)

The last 2 teams face off in a final debate.
One club is crowned Roast League Champion!

The Roast League Championship is built on passion, rivalry, and crowd participation. To ensure the most competitive and engaging debates, the final list of clubs may change based on the number of registered contestants and audience demand.

How Does This Work?

If a club does not have enough contestant registrations, it may be replaced by another team with stronger representation.
To secure your club’s spot, you and other supporters must register as contestants and encourage others to do the same.
The more contestant sign-ups and audience engagement a club gets, the higher the chances of keeping it in the lineup.

What Happens If Your Club Isn’t Selected?

Full Refund: If your club is not included in the final championship lineup, you will receive a full refund for your contestant registration.
Alternative Option: You will have the opportunity to switch to another club still open for participation.

How to Ensure Your Club Stays in the Championship?

Encourage your fellow fans, friends, and soccer community to register as contestants and secure audience tickets for your club.
The more representation your club has, the stronger its chances of remaining in the championship.
Audience power matters—if enough people rally behind a club, we will keep it in the tournament.
